The State Bar Council organises programmes from time to time. Sometime ago a programme was organised on Contemporary Challenges to Legal Educatio: Scope for Reforms”. Sometime after the programme the New Education Policy has been announced by the government. The subject of legal education has been left with the BCI which is expected to make some appropriate decisions for reforms.

The Council soon plans to organise a Faculty Development Programme for law teachers and moot court competition for law students
