The primary objective to oblige the Council to organise seminars was to ensure that the Council promotes the legal skills of the Advocates. Jharkhand State Bar Council appreciated this objective and organsied several seminars for the Advocates, started “Jharkhand Bar Council Journal” and organised training programmes for newly enrolled Advocates to help them understand the requirements of Advocacy, as well as to help them prepare for AIBE and the judicial services exams. To make the efforts more organised, the Council set up a Lawyers’ Academy. The Academy has organised several programmes. A Faculty Development Programme for law teachers and a moot court competition for the law students of Jharkhand are to be organised by the Academy soon
